The Wynotte Sisters
An alt country singer/songwriter and kick ass fiddler, a bassist/ukulele player who's done everything from Hawaiian swing to noise rock and a Norwegian powerpopper playing Holiday Tunes? Wynotte?
Sara, Daria and Vibeke met in 2015 through the music scene in Beacon, where they all live, and soon discovered a mutual love for three part harmonies, wine and cheese and liquorice. All three girls have very distinct, but different voices, that compliment each other perfectly.
The Wynotte Sisters offer two types of shows, a Christmas show and a show for the rest of the year.
Their Christmas show is a mix of original material as well as genre-crossing covers off the beaten track. From vintage Andrew's Sisters via Irma Thomas and Yoko Ono to The Raveonettes, they deliver an unexpected trove of holiday chestnuts.
The rest of the year, The Wynotte Sisters' show features an eclectic mix of new and old favorites, all given the three part harmony treatment and made their own.
